Vijayawada, December 27: Andhra Pradesh will get another installment of Rs.212 crore in new currency from Reserve Bank of India (RBI) tomorrow.
Minister for irrigation D. Umamaheswara Rao said once infused into the system, the cash is expected to provide further relief to people reeling under cash crunch.
The state government has asked all banks to ensure that all ATMs across the state become functional.
The minister said all steps were being taken to ensure that wherever agriculture activity is in full swing, farmers and agriculture labourers get the cash without any difficulty.
He directed officials to make all arrangements to buy paddy from farmers.
