Nagarjuna prays at Nizamabad temple for ONV’s success

Hyderabad, February 9: Akkineni Nagarjuna today offered prayers at Indur Tirumala temple at Narsingpally in Mapal mandal in Nizamabad district.

A day before the release of his movie ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’, the actor along with well-known film producer Dil Raj, ONV producer Mahesh Reddy and other members of the unit visited the temple and performed puja for the film’s success.

Dil Raj belongs to this village and he had initiated the steps to renovate the old temple.

Nagarjuna said acting in devotional films like ‘Annamayya’, ‘Sri Ramadasu’, ‘Sirdi Saibaba’ and now ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’has given him inner satisfaction.

Stating that ONV is an amazing movie, he said everybody should watch it.

Directed by Raghavendra Rao. ONV features Pragya Jaiswal and Anushka Shetty as female leads. It is based on the story of Hathi Ram Baba, a devotee of Lord Venkateswara.


The film was recently in the news after a 10-minute clip was leaked by the same gang that had stolen the Baahubali 2 climax war sequence. T the flash drive that was seized by the Police also contained moments from ONV. However, the clip wasn’t shared online and the filmmakers could avert the damage.
