Vijayawada, February 11: State Bank of India (SBI) will build an iconic building in Amaravati for its state headquarters.
SBI General Manager (network) Narayana announced this while inaugurating new branch of the bank at Ganapati Nagar in Mangalgiri in Guntur district today.
He said in the new state capital, the SBI will have its state head office and for this an iconic building will be constructed.
He said that the SBI has already set up camp office in Vijayawada.
Narayana advised customers to take all precautions while making online transactions. He said the bank was giving top priority to security for the online transactions.
He said the customers should follow basic security guidelines like not revealing their username and password to anyone. The official said the people should know that the bank never contacts customers for their username or password.
