Hyderabad, April 24: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s daughter-in-law Nara Brahmani today said that she has no plans to enter politics.
The executive director of Heritage Food Limited made it clear that she has no political ambition.
Brahmani, whose husband Nara Lokesh was inducted into the state cabinet earlier this month, wants to focus on the company founded by Naidu 25 years ago.
She along with her mother-in-law Nara Bhuvaneshwari, vice chairperson and managing director of Heritage Foods, unveiled the new brand identity of the company on its silver jubilee. They also announced aggressive expansion plans of the company to achieve Rs.6,000 crore turnover target by 2022.
Brahmani, the Master of Business Administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business, deftly handled the questions from media. She spoke at length about the vision of the company and its plans to become a pan India player.
Brahmani, who is daughter of actor Balakrishna, is becoming the face of the company, which was earlier not known for media interactions.
As someone who can articulate herself better, Brahmani confidently faces media persons and professionally answers queries about the company.
With Lokes quitting as company director following his induction in the cabinet and his entire focus now on politics, his wife is donning a larger role in the family firm.
