BJP to go hard on Naidu if alliance is broken

The Bharatiya Janata Party leadership is geared up with all the required weapons to hard against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu if the latter breaks the alliance. According to the information available from within the party sources, the BJP had given enough signals to its leaders to get ready to hit Naidu hard on all fronts and expose his misdeeds. The party is readying firebrand leaders like Somu Veerraju and Kanna Lakshminarayana to be more vocal against Naidu in case the honeymoon ends. The top leadership of the BJP had also given enough material from every Ministry at the Centre that had given money to the State and equipped top leaders like Purandheswari and Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, to hit at Naidu.

The sources say that both Purandheswari and Sambasiva Rao have the statistics with them to counter every criticism of Chandrababu Naidu on ‘non-cooperation or betrayal’ by the BJP. The money given to the capital, the money pumped in for Polavaram and money sent to the State through different schemes and Chandrababu Naidu’s failure to give the utilisation certificate to the Centre are some weapons given to these firebrand leaders to aim at the TDP chief.

The BJP leadership is unhappy with the TDP for not giving any credit to Modi in the two major projects of Amaravati and Polavaram. Chandrababu Naidu had never given credit either to the BJP or the Prime Minister in the two programmes. This angers the BJP which says that Naidu was the first to break the alliance dharma by not giving credit to the partner. The BJP leadership is also unhappy with Chandrababu Naidu for changing the names of the Central schemes. The Chandranna Bhima and the NTR Housing are some of the Central schemes where the Modi government gives money while Naidu government implements them as if they are the State-sponsored schemes. The BJP is now holding the papers in their hands to show thousand reasons to prove that Naidu was the first to betray the ally.

Though there are two BJP Ministers in the Chandrababu Naidu’s Cabinet, they are not given importance. Endowments Minister Manikyala Rao is made a big zero in the activities or decisions taken in the ministry. The Godavari and Krishna pushkarams were conducted by the Chief Minister himself keeping the BJP Minister aside. The prestigious TTD Trust Boards and the trust boards of several temples in the State are filled by the Chief Minister without the knowledge of the Endowments Minister. This is one of the many reasons that cause anger the BJP leaders who feel neglected by the TDP.

The other reason is the non-representation to the BJP in the nominated posts filled by the State government. Several nominated posts were given to the TDP leaders in the State during the last four years and not a single post was given to the BJP. The State BJP leaders who have aspired for a handful of nominated posts remain dissatisfied as Chandrababu Naidu did not consider even a single application following the coalition dharma.

With all these reason and many more in their pocket, the BJP leadership from the State is only waiting for Chandrababu Naidu to break the alliance and be the victim of his own mistakes.
