Mega family to go against Chandrababu Naidu

It looks like the entire Megastar family is set to take on Telugu Desam supremo, Chandrababu Naidu, in this election year. Enough indications were given by the family members like Pawan Kalyan, Naga Babu and Allu Aravind, who see a conspiracy by the TDP and its sponsored media to tarnish the image of Pawan Kalyan.

The Jana Sena chief has been taking on the media houses through his tweets in the twitter for the past three days. Pawan Kalyan, Naga Babu and Aravind have already made open statements against their critics and they have put up a show at the film chamber office the other day. They made an appeal to the people to boycott the “Ýellow media” as they claim and surprisingly, in the last two days, the ratings of ABN Andhra Jyothi, TV9 and Maha TV have come down alarmingly, particularly in the Godavari districts. The YouTube viewership too had come down for these news channels.

Though Mega Star Chiranjeevi is yet to come out on the issue of the TDP and its media targeting Pawan Kalyan, the other family members including Allu Arjun and Ram Charan Tej have rallied behind Pawan Kalyan the other day. A secret meeting of the family members on Sunday evening in Hyderabad had decided to talk to their fans privately to work against the TDP in the next elections.

While Pawan Kalyan is planning to contest the next elections in some selective seats, the Mega family’s campaign is likely to help him in those segments. The Mega heroes were also asking their fans to vote against the TDP in both Jana Sena seats and where Jana Sena is not contesting. This would mean that the Mega fans would vote to a non-TDP party in their respective constituency.

Meanwhile, Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham had welcomed Pawan Kalyan for breaking ties with the TDP, though late. The former minister and mentor of the Kapu movement in the State had sent some advices to the Jana Sena chief on how to take on Chandrababu Naidu in the next elections. Mudragada is angry with the TDP chief for not giving reservations to the Kapus and not allowing him to hold protests in the State.

The victimisation of Kapus is being exposed by Mudragada, which would also be a disadvantage for Chandrababu Naidu in the next round of elections. If Kapus vote against TDP on the call given by the Mega family on one side and Mudragada Padmanabham on the other, it would be clearly a disadvantage for Chandrababu Naidu to retain the power. The TDP is just a five lakh votes away from the rival, YSR Congress in the 2014 elections and this Mega fans and Kapus would constitute that five lakh votes and even a little more to alter the winning chances.
