‘Not Nava Nirmana it is Naya Vanchana (Betrayal) Deeksha’

The BJP new chief is hard at hitting back at Chandrababu Naidu, who is not leaving even a single opportunity to brand BJP and Narndra Modi as betrayers. Kanna had now set the agenda for the State BJP to go to the people. The party is launching Intintiki BJP (BJP to every house) programme where the party leaders plan to explain to the people the benefits that the Narendra Modi government had given to the State in the last four years.

“The pension, cement roads, houses, toilets, insurance scheme and many more are given by the Central government. How dare Naidu says that the roads belong to him? He is renaming the Central schemes here and claiming the credit,” Kanna said asserting that the party leaders would expose this renaming of the schemes. He claimed that the Central government is implementing 156 welfare schemes which were all renamed by Chandrababu Naidu claiming credit for them. “There is heavy funding from the Central government under these schemes. But, Chandrababu Naidu had renamed every scheme and using the money as if it is from his pocket. He is claiming these schemes as his own without giving credit to the Central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Kanna said.

He took a dig at Chandrababu Naidu’s Nava Nirmana Deeksha and termed it as ‘Naya Vanchana (Betrayal) Deeksha’. The BJP ranks are now being prepared to counter Chandrababu Naidu’s campaign. The BJP, through the house to house programme in the next couple of months, would go to the people with the agenda of countering Chandrababu Naidu’s campaign and explaining the welfare programmes of the Narendra Modi government. “The task is too big. But we are confident of convincing the people,” Kanna asserted.

Though the BJP has limited strength in the State, there is a backup of the RSS and VHP whose cadre is committed and take up every issue with dedication. The BJP is now banking on this committed strong backup to take on Chandrababu Naidu. In the last four years, the BJP had built up the booth level committees in the State and the party now claims to have these booth committees in every mandal. If this works out well, as anticipated by Kanna and other leaders, the damage would be more for Chandrababu Naidu.
