Naidu sees Pawan as BJP agent

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu finds Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan as agent of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Naidu justifies his charge stating that the Jana Sena chief started criticising him only after the Telugu Desam Party pulled out from the NDA government at the Centre.

Chandrababu Naidu claims that Pawan Kalyan had changed his mind and opinions about him after he broke the alliance with the BJP. “As long as I was with the BJP, Pawan Kalyan found me good leader with experience to develop the State. Once I broke the alliance and launched the fight against the BJP, the same leader finds me corrupt and inefficient,” Chandrababu Naidu claims.

Being a political Machiavellian, Chandrababu Naidu is known for hitting hard at his rivals. The Jana Sena had moved out of the NDA much before Chandrababu Naidu did and the reason was the special category status. Pawan Kalyan distanced himself from the TDP and BJP in the third year after the 2014 election and started his agitation for the cause aligning himself with the Left parties. Chandrababu Naidu who had been with the BJP for four years and had even given up the special category status demand accepting the special package offered and had even arrested leaders raising voice for special category status now goes around claiming himself as champion of the cause and brands others as conspirators.

Chandrababu Naidu conveniently ignores the fact that the special category status demand had been there despite his opposition to it and he was made to raise his voice for the same though late because of the peoples’ sentiments. The TDP chief and supporting  media is using every opportunity to project him as the champion of the special category status demand and dub his pull out from the BJP as a great and heroic sacrifice.

Ironically, Chandrababu Naidu government had denied permission to the Jana Sena chief to tour in Araku area of Visakhapatnam. Pawan Kalyan is made to sit in his resorts for the past three days as the police have not cleared his letter seeking permission for his tour in the area. This is how Chandrababu Naidu handles his critics and Pawan Kalyan is no exception now.
