Actor Vishal who is in the limelight in both Kollywood and Tollywood with his movie ‘Abhimanyudu’ has proved that he is a hero in real life too. Whenever Tamil Nadu, especially film industry, faces any problem, Vishal responds immediately. In the latest development, Vishal hit the headlines by rescuing Rajnikanth’s ‘Kaala’ from the clutches of piracy. ‘Kaala’ was released across India on Thursday. It was released abroad on Wednesday. A person in Singapore’s Cathy multiplex live streamed ‘Kaala’ on Facebook. It came to Vishal’s notice and acting quickly he got the man arrested in Singapore within 40 minutes. This saved ‘Kaala’ from being hit by piracy even before its release. While Rajinikanth as the hero in ‘Kaala’ movie is entertaining the audience, Vishal as the hero has won applause of both the audience and the industry.
Vishal said that since Rajinikanth came on screen after a gap of two years, ‘Kaala’ is a very important movie for him. He said some audience feel that recording songs and scenes on their mobile phones in cinema theatres is a small issue but they should realize that it is a crime. It is difficult to catch somebody indulging in piracy outside India but he got the man arrested in Singapore. Vishal is currently serving as the president of Tamil Nadu Film Producers’ council.
