The Bharatiya Janata Party looks like dreaming big in Telangana State and planning big in Andhra Pradesh, ahead of the next general elections. Amid high speculation over the BJP leadership planning to advance the elections to December, five months ahead of the schedule, the party plans to win the Telangana State and emerge as strong force in Andhra Pradesh.
BJP national president Amit Shah is now touring Telangana to motivate and inspire the party leadership to go extensively across the State building a positive or rather winning image for the party. Hitting hard at the ruling Telangana Rastra Samithi here, the BJP plans to take major share of the anti-incumbency vote, depriving the Congress of getting it. The party is planning to distribute smart phones and motor cycles to the party booth level leaders across the State, thus activating them to work for the party. The smart phones will keep the party leadership in touch with them and share the strategy from time to time, while the motor cycles help them keep moving.
The BJP had done its election plan in several states using the smart phones and motor cycles. The party’s victory in Uttar Pradesh was possible only because of its operations like this at the grassroots. The party had already deployed thousands of motor cycles to the two Telugu States. Shah’s visit to Telangana will start the distribution of these vehicles that follows distribution of the android mobiles.
The BJP is also planning in a big way in Andhra Pradesh, with a motive to defeat the ruling Telugu Desam Party here. As the party has no strength anywhere in the State to win either the Lok Sabha seat or the Assembly seat on its own, the BJP leaders from AP plan to destroy the TDP’s vote base and thus defeat the TDP.
BJP had already deployed three Union Ministers to the State, Nitin Gadkari, Pon Radhakrishnan and Manshuk Mandaviya, to launch national highway projects worth Rs 6688 crore in Uttarandhra. While Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is also joining these Union Ministers in Visakhapantma, the BJP plans it as big gift to the State and a big gain to the party.
BJP AP chief Kanna Lakshminarayana is going hard against the TDP in the State exposing how the Centre had been helping the State in the last four years and how the TDP is leading a false campaign. He is presenting facts and figures about the flow of funds from the Centre in the last four years, which might go well with the educated and middle class voters.
