Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the state govt is able to increase satisfaction level among people on implementation of various welfare programmes.
Speaking to media persons on the occasion of completion of 1500 days of rule, the Chief Minister said the state govt is able to come over financial crisis despite of unethical state bifurcation. He said priority is given to reforms in administration to bring transparency using technology and the state stood in first place in Ease of doing business.
The Chief Minister said Rs 24,000 cr spent on loan waiver scheme for farmers and 13 irrigation projects completed at a cost of Rs 50,000 cr. He said Rs 60,000 cr spent towards implementation of various welfare programmes. He said the state govt set a record in house warming programme. He said the programme was organised in one lakh houses last year and 3 lakh houses this month. He said 19 lakh houses would be completed by 2019.
The welfare programmes being implemented in Andhra Pradesh won appreciation of World Bank Indian representative. He said that he is going to participate in Grama Darsini programme and some more programmes will be implemented for Dwcra groups.
The Chief Minister said hundred Anna canteens would be inaugurated in August. He said the centre was asked to release funds for Kadapa steel plant or else provide tax relaxation for a period of ten years for construction of steel plant. He said that the Grama Darsini programme would be continued till January to prepare an action plan to solve the problems of people.
