No question of Jagan going to jail

Senior leader and former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar believes that the cases booked against Y S Jagan will not be proved and he will not get jail sentence. In an interview to a channel, he said that the cases booked against Jagan will not stand in the court of law. He pointed out that there are no instances of anybody being convicted in quid pro quo cases in India. He said he had been saying this from the beginning. He believes that there is no question of Jagan going to jail. At the most, he might be fined. He said in all these cases Y S Rajasekhara Reddy is first accused while Jagan is a beneficiary.

Undavalli said that from the beginning he had been saying that the situation in the state is favourable for Jaganmohan Reddy. He feels that in the present situation Jagan has the chance but since there is still one year to go for elections, Chandrababu may do anything. According to him, Chandrababu does election management like nobody else. He is of the opinion that Jagan has no strategists who can do the poll management. He denied that he is providing guidance to Jagan. He also said that no matter how many seats Congress contests in AP, the party which divided the state will not benefit. He predicted that if Congress contests on its own, it will not get even one seat in the coming elections. However, one can’t say if Congress forms alliance with other parties . Undavalli made it clear that presently he is not in any party. He said he met Pawan Kalyan at his invitation. “I am ready to give suggestions for the development of AP no matter who seeks it,” he added.
