The entire film industry is now talking about only one film. Released worldwide on August 15, ‘Geetha Govindam’ has become super duper hit. The film featuring Vijay Devarkonda-Rashmika in the lead pair is racing ahead as a blockbuster hit and with blockbuster collections. Megastar Chiranjeevi and Mahesh have congratulated the film unit. Several industry personalities have also lavished praise on the movie. It is being said that this megahit had gone out of the hands of a mega hero. After the film’s success, the mega hero is said to be depressed.
That hero is no other but Allu Sirish. When Geetha Arts were making ‘Shrirasthu Shubhamasthu’ under the direction of Parshuram and with Allu Sirish as hero, director Parshuram said to have developed the story of ‘Geetha Govindam’. Parashuram, who got advance for both the films from Geetha Arts banner, reportedly narrated the story to Bunny Vaas and Allu Aravind. It is said that Aravind liked the story and suggested to Parashuram to make the film based on this story with his younger son Sirish. It is also said that Sirish too came forward to do the movie. However, Parashuram said the story will not work out with Sirish and the film can become hit if made with a hero having comedy angle.
Sirish met Parashuram several times to do the film but Parshuram did not relent and that’s how the story went to Vijay Devarkonda. Initially Vijay Devarkonda did not agree to do the movie but later changed his mind. The film was made under Geetha Arts banner and became a super hit. Sirish is said to be lamenting over such a hit film going out of his hands. However, he is still happy that the film has become a hit under their banner. It is being said that if this film was made with Sirish, it would not have become such a big hit and even the collections would not have been in this range. Whatever it may be, Sirish losing a hit film because of Parshuram is a matter of sadness for the mega family.
