Ex-CM Nedurumalli’s son in Jagan’s net

Opposition leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who is currently on Maha Sankalpa Yatra in Visakhapatnam completing over 250 days and walking for more than 2500 km, seems to be winning the key leaders from every other district, more from the Nellore district.

It was just last fortnight that Jaganmohan Reddy had a senior leader from the Nellore district joining him. Former minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy had joined the YSR Congress, giving the party an edge over the ruling Telugu Desam Party. Though Ramnarayan Reddy is not a mass leader to pull the votes, his presence in the YSR Congress would help in keeping the dominant families together would give an edge to the party in the next polls.

Now, it is former minister Nedurumalli Janardhana Reddy family which had walked into the YSR Congress from the Nellore district. Nedurumall Ramkumar Reddy had joined the YSR Congress in the presence of Jaganmohan Reddy at Pendurthi in Visakhapatnam district. Jaganmohan Reddy, while welcoming the former chief minister’s son, wanted the party leaders to work together in the next elections to defeat the TDP and Chandrababu Naidu.

Ramkumar said that people of the State have tilted towards experience in the last elections, particularly because of the bifurcation and the injustice done to the State in the bifurcation. However, having seen Chandrababu Naidu for the past four years and his corruption, the people were now looking forward to Jaganmohan Reddy, Nedurumalli Ramkumar claimed.

The Nellore district is now strong with the influential families of Anam, Mekapati and Nedurumalli standing together by the side of Jaganmohan Reddy. It is to be seen how these three strong families from the district help Jaganmohan Reddy win the elections. It is for sure that these families should keep the differences aside and stand united to prove their strength. The next election is equally important for these families to prove their strength in the district.
