NTR’s ‘Aravinda Sametha’ mania has gripped Tollywood. There are heavy expectations from this film releasing tomorrow. In the commotion caused by ‘Aravinda Sametha’ Vijay Devarkonda’s movie ‘Nota’ has fell apart. ‘Nota’ made in Tamil with Vijay Devarkonda as the hero was released last Friday. By scoring blockbuster hit with ‘Geetha Govindam’, Vijay Devarkonda joined Rs.100 crore club. He, however, received shock with ‘Nota’. It looks that with ‘Nota’ proving a flop, Vijay Devarkonda’s market has also started shaking. Even when ‘Geetha Govindam’ scored blockbuster hit, Vijay Devarkonda was in a dilemma about releasing ‘Taxiwala’. The film’s shooting was already completed and it was thought because of Vijay’s craze it will be released. It appears that the film has not yet freed itself from the problems.
‘Taxiwala’ which was scheduled to be released before ‘Geetha Govindam’ has not yet been released. In the meantime, the leakage of ‘Taxiwala’ on Internet, producer handing over those involved in the leak to police and later the film pausing without becoming viral over online, thus there have been many twists. It appears that ‘Nota’ setback has dealt a blow to ‘Taxiwala’. If ‘Nota’ had become hit, the makers of ‘Taxiwala’ would have taken advantage of Vijay’s craze to dump ‘Taxiwala’ on theatres. However, with ‘Nota’ getting negative feedback, the difficulties for ‘Taxiwala’ have only gone up. There have been reports earlier quoting makers that ‘Taxiwala’ planned to be directly released online. However, this is not being heard anywhere now. Whatever it may be, Vijay’s Tamil debut decision has not only hurt Vijay but has drastically reduced his craze.
