Shah finds TRS as a force

In a surprise even to his own party leaders, Bharatiya Janata Party national president Amti Shah found Telangana Rastra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao as a force in the State comparing with Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. He said that Chandrababu Naidu could not be an alternative to the TRS in Telangana despite the TDP’s tie-up with the Congress and other parties.

Another surprise that Shah gave to the voters of Telangana was that the BJP finds MIM as its enemy and not the TRS. The BJP chief wanted the people to liberate Telangana from MIM. Interestingly, the MIM is limited only to the twin cities as of now and Shah’s statement to liberate Telangana from MIM comes as surprise the party leaders. This statement was made not in Hyderabad where the MIM is strong and present with half-a-dozen MLAs, but was made in Karimnagar, where the people are unaware of the MIM.

While accusing Chandrasekhar Rao of going back on his promises and not developing the State in the last four years, the BJP chief said KCR was trying to project his son or daughter as the next chief minister of the State. He accused KCR of failing to give jobs to the youth and houses for the poor, thus deserve to be defeated.

As expected by the Telangana BJP leaders, Amit Shah did not inspire them or the people as his target was more on MIM and not the TRS. His criticism of AP Chief Minister was a futile attempt as it would not give votes for BJP in Telangana. Thus Shah had failed in helping the Telangana leaders to strengthen the party in the State. The party which is struggling hard to find candidates could not get the required help from the party national president.
