Why Telugu audiences were ignored?

Since ‘Baahubali’ was a nationwide movie, Rajamouli promoted it accordingly. Jakkanna took all film industries of the country with him. After holding ‘Baahubali’ Telugu audio function in Hyderabad, Jakkanna organized Tamil audio function in Chennai. For Hindi people he held a press meet in Mumbai. ‘Baahubali’ team visited major cities in the country for promotion and this helped the film get nationwide recognition.

2.0 lagging in publicity

‘2.0’ was made with bigger budget than that of ‘Baahubali’ but in terms of publicity it is lagging behind. For the audio launch in Chennai, they just took some Telugu media representatives to Chennai. Subsequently, they did not even have one promotion in Telugu. Our Telugu films do aggressive promotion there but we can’t understand why Shankar is not doing the promotion in Telugu. Since this is India wide movie, promotions in all languages will help in good collection. However, ‘2.0’ team is not bothered about this. For ‘Thugs of Hindustan’ Amitabh Bacchan and Amir Khan had released a special audio in which they spoke in Telugu.

Without publicity in Telugu

In the latest development, Rajini gave an interview for Tamil people. Shankar gave an interview for Bollywood. But why have they not given interview to Telugu media? Why did they ignore Telugu people? This movie in Telugu is being released in more theatres than Tamil. Why were they not bothered about publicity in Telugu? Trailer was not very much interesting. That’s why only with promotion the film can have good opening and it may come on the safe side. The producers are not thinking on those lines. In another four days, this film will be released worldwide.
