Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan who is currently touring East Godavari district is scheduled to make his next move to reach out to the Rayalaseema people. He is scheduled to begin his first leg of Rayalaseema tour from Ananthapur town on December 2.
The Jana Sena had asked the party rank and file to join Pawan Kalyan in his long march in the town, which they named Kavaathu. The party is riding high on the Kavaathu event after the success of a similar walk across Godavari river on Dowleswaram Barrage recently. Pawan Kalyan wants to replicate this walk in Ananthapur town on the first day of his tour in the region.
The Jana Sena is also flying high on its two outreach programmes – the train journey of Pawan Kalyan from Vijayawada to Rajahmundry and the APSRTC bus journey from Rajahmundry to Rampachodavaram. During these two programmes, Pawan Kalyan was spotted interacting with the fellow passengers, besides groups of people. The two programmes have given him opportunity to know the problems of the people in a first-hand account.
The Jana Sena now wants to replicate the programme during his tour in the four districts of Rayalaseema. There are chances of Pawan Kalyan traveling by bus and train in these four districts too, sources said.
Stepping into the Rayalaseema region, Pawan Kalyan had made up his mind to address the prevailing drought in the four districts. Party senior leader and former speaker of united Andhra Pradesh Nadendla Manohar is preparing the material on backwardness and drought in Rayalaseema districts. Pawan Kalyan will use this data during his speeches and interaction with the people.
The Jana Sena is also inviting the Rayalaseema leaders to have direct interaction with Pawan Kalyan during his stay. There are several groups that have been working exclusively on the Rayalaseema issues. The party is reaching out to such groups for a coordination during the tour and later in the elections.
