BJP, TDP get ready for head on fight

Chandrababu Narendra modi telugu post telugu news

The Bharatiya Janata Party in Andhra Pradesh is getting ready for direct fight with the ruling Telugu Desam Party ahead of the elections. As the TDP including its chief Chandrababu Naidu is going hard against the BJP leadership and holding Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the villain for the State, the BJP is now seems to have decided to give a counter. It started with the BJP activists holding a protest at the Chief Minister’s convoy at Kakinada, where they blamed Chandrababu Naidu on corruption and failure.

In reply to this, the TDP activists held a protest at BJP State unit president and former minister Kanna Lakshminarayana’s house in Guntur. The two parties are now set for head-on collision and the protests are likely to continue all over the State. The BJP seems to have decided to hold protests wherever Chandrababu Naidu visits in the days to come. The BJP, which had been playing low for all these days to the campaign by the TDP chief, is now set to give it back to the TDP chief. The party leaders are getting ready to counter the campaign by Chandrababu Naidu.

Chandrababu Naidu had successfully projected the BJP and Narendra Modi as the villains in denying the bifurcation benefits to the State particularly the special category status. Though Chandrababu Naidu himself had voluntarily given up the State’s claim on the special category status, he had shifted the blame on the BJP. Initially, the BJP did not return this statement and remained silent despite the party facing severe damage.

Now, the BJP wants to go aggressive as it was seen in the Kakinada protest. Kanna Lakshminarayana and other leaders in the party have reportedly received instructions from the high command to counter TDP’s campaign. It is said that party national president Amit Shah to is scheduled to visit the State in the next two weeks and that would follow series of such visits by the senior leaders and Central Ministers who would be countering the campaign.

It is to be seen how the two parties take the battle to the logical conclusion before the bell rings for the polls.
