Chandrababu Naidu will be readying fighting cocks after Sankranti. The Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu is planning to contest coming election aggressively. That’s why he has intensified the process to select the candidates. On one hand he is participating in Janmabhoomi programme while on the other he is working hard to resolve the differences in the constituencies. It is said that in the first list he may declare names of 40 candidates. In this context before the release of first list by Chandrababu, arrangements are being made for large-scale influx of leaders from others parties into the TDP after Sankranti.

It is learnt that the party chief wants to see large-scale influx before announcing candidates so that nobody can question his choice. For this the list of those joining the party is also being prepared. Already some senior leaders are eager to join the party. Their entry was delayed due to local factors. It is said that Chandrababu made it clear that with elections fast approaching there will be influx in the party and if anybody expresses his reservations, he will not listen.

It is learnt that senior leaders Sabbam Hari, Konathala Ramakrishna, Dadi Veerabhadra Rao, D L Ravindra Reddy and some others are ready to join TDP. Preparations are being made to welcome all of them into the party on some auspicious occasion after Sankranti. There is no clarity on whether all of them will join the party at a big public meeting at Amaravati or they will join in phases but TDP sources say there will definitely be a large-scale influx into the party after Sankranti.

Babu believes the entry of leaders from other parties into TDP at the time of elections will further strengthen the party. On one hand he is ensuring that there is no dissidence in the party due to selection of candidates and entry of other leaders while on the other he is confident that entry of leaders who have considerable following among people and who have good name at the state level will ensure the party’s victory. It is said that information has already been sent to some leaders to be ready to join after Sankranti. Some senior leaders suggested that leaders from other parties should be included before taking a decision on whether to go it alone in the coming elections or contest in alliance with Congress. Accordingly, Chandrababu is reported to have given the green signal. With YSRCP chief Jagan gearing up to launch bus yatra after concluding his padyatra and Jana Sena announcing that it will go it alone, Chandrababu is taking quick decisions. Overall, after Sankranti the yellow party will be abuzz with several leaders joining its ranks.
