Bharatiya Janata Party supremo Amit Shah made scathing attack on Telugu Desam Party supremo and AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu alleging him of the most opportunist politician in the country. He launched the BJP AP unit’s bus yatra from Palasa where he addressed a public meeting.
Shah said that Chandrababu Naidu changes his politics to suit to his power. He wondered that Chandrababu Naidu can stoop down to any level and align with anyone to save his power and corruption. He took strong exceptions to the TDP chief aligning with the Congress these days to save the corruption that the TDP leaders have been indulging in the State for all these years.
The BJP chief told the people that Chandrababu Naidu had agreed for the special package and had dropped the special category status. The talks were held in the presence of Visakhapatnam MP Kambhampati Haribabu, the BJP chief told the people and questioned why the TDP chief had gone back to the special category status.
Branding the TDP chief as opportunist, Amit Shah said that the TDP chief would come back to the BJP and look for alliance with the NDA once the elections are completed. He said that the return of the BJP and Modi government was certain, particularly after the budget. “Once Prime Minister Narendra Modi forms the next government, we are sure Chandrababu Naidu will come back to the BJP,” Amit Shah said. However, he said that the BJP would not give entry to Chandrababu Naidu in the NDA this time.
“We have understood Chandrababu Naidu’s corrupt and opportunist politics. We will not let him come back,” the BJP chief said.
The BJP in the State had lined up the party senior leaders and several Union Ministers to join the bus yatra. The leaders are planning to attack the TDP chief while the Union Ministers are set to explain to the people the flow of funds from the Central government to the State in the last four-and-a-half years, dismissing the TDP’s allegations of non-cooperation and betrayal by the Centre.
