Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu will be meeting President Ramnath Kovind at Rastrapati Bhavan on today. He would lead a 11-member delegation to the President. The delegation would reach Rastrapathi Bhavan in a procession from AP Bhavan.
The TDP chief had prepared the copies of the AP Reorganisation Act and the promises made to the State at the time of the bifurcation of the State to be presented to the President. Chandrababu Naidu also prepared a detailed statement on the injustice done to the State by the Central government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The third complaint was that of destruction of institutions by the Modi government and a request to the President to save democracy in the country.
Chandrababu Naidu would have the company of Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Chinarajappa, Kalavenkata Rao, Nakka Ananda Babu, employees’ leaders Bopparaju Venkateswarlu, Chandrasekhar Reddy and Murali Krishna, intellectual forum chief Chalasani Srinivas, journalist unions leaders I V Subba Rao and Ch Krishnanjaneyulu, and actor Sivaji, when he meets the President.
Chandrababu Naidu is flying high on the success of his day-long protest held in AP Bhavan the other day as several leaders at the national level were present at the protest all through. The leaders have praised the TDP chief for his fighting spirit and gave him strength to hard against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Lifted high by the non-BJP leaders, Chandrababu Naidu took the fight to a personal level daring Modi and blaming him for all evils in the country. Surprisingly, Chandrababu Naidu echoed the allegations of the Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Rafale aircrafts deal against the Modi government. When these Opposition leaders met in Delhi last week, Chandrababu Naidu lacked clarity on the Rafale deal as he misspelt fighter flights to a passenger flights. But, a week later, on his return to the national capital, Chandrababu Naidu was able to get some information about the Rafale deal and he blamed the government for dropping public sector unit of HAL from the deal and roping in Anil Ambani’s Reliance Aviation Limited into the deal.
It is to be seen what Chandrababu Naidu would say when he comes back to Amaravati after his 36 hours stay in the national capital
