Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu termed the coming general elections as peoples’ elections. He said that 5 crore people of Andhra Pradesh should think cautiously before voting to establish TDP government committed for development and welfare of people.
Addressing party activists as part of election preparatory meeting at Visakhapatnam, the Chief Minister referring to the quotes of Alexander, said that 65 lakh party men should work like himself to establish TDP government. He said Visakhapatnam would be developed as a knowledge hub. He said that he has a right to ask people for vote as he developed the state for the past five years despite of state bifurcation problems.
The Chief Minister said that he has the support of 90 lakh Dwacra women, lakhs of pensions, farmers, youth and auto drivers. Describing himself as driver Number one, the Chief Minister appealed to auto drivers to motivate people to vote for development. He said that he relaxed the life tax for auto-rickshaws and tractors.
Coming down heavily on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister said that he is extending support to YS Jaganmohan Reddy, Expressing surprise over handing over the case of attack on Jagan at Visakha airport, the Chief Minister said that is the Kodikatti case deserves NIA investigation. He said the Modi and Shah duo are strong in cheating people. He said that the BJP govt sanctioned Visakha railway zone shifting division and freight revenue to Rayagada. Jagan has been causing injustice to AP by colluding with both Modi and KCR. He questioned KCR, why he filed writ petition against Polavaram project. He said if we are able to elect 25 MPs we will be deciding factor in selecting the Prime Minister.
The Chief Minister appealed to party men to work hard for the coming 25 days to win all the assembly and parliament seats in the state.
Referring to removal of votes from voters list by the YSRC party, the Chief Minister said one cannot predict the time of cyber crime. He said one should be cautious of their votes. He warned PK that his election politics will not be possible in AP. He said YSRCP failed as an opposition party and the MLAs will not attend the Assembly and at the same time claim their salaries.
