Fact Check: After careful observation of the viral image, we found that the claim is false. The image has been fabricated and shared on social media ahead of the general elections.

During the search, we found that on May.06.2024  Amul shared the viral image on its official social media handle and mentioned: “We wish to inform you that a fake message featuring the Amul Girl is being shared on WhatsApp and social media. This advertisement has not been created by Amul.”

Amul also mentioned "we strongly urge all voters to vote in the ongoing elections and strengthen our democracy”

Furthermore, we found Amul promoted 3 campaigns related to ongoing general elections, 2024. All the ads posted can be seen urging the public to go and exercise their franchise.

If you observe all these ad campaigns and compare them with the recent viral image, you'll notice that the 'Taste of India' logo is missing.

Hence, it is proved that the viral image is false. Amul didn’t promote the ad campaigns on general elections.
