Ahead of the general elections, a lot of fake information is being shared on different social media platforms. Nowadays, an image that looks like a newspaper clipping having the title of Dainik Bhaskar is being circulated with a poll survey.
Social media users shared the image with a claim “Dainik Bhaskar-Nelson Survey: In 10 states INDIA alliance is leading & could cross 200 in these 10 states alone. Even in the Hindi heartland states, Modi's image is not enough to get votes for the BJP. NDA is looking at washouts from Bihar, Bengal & Maharashtra”. Along with the common public, this post was shared by several political leaders on their social media accounts.
Fact Check: After careful observation of the newspaper clip we found the claim is False; on April 13, 2024, no such survey report was published by Dainik Bhaskar which was circulated on social media.
When we searched for the April 13 newspaper, Bhopal Edition of Dainik Bhaskar, we could not find any survey report on that particular page.

When translated to English, it reads: “This survey is fake, which has been prepared by some anti-social elements. Dainik Bhaskar does not claim to have produced any such content. Action should be taken against those people who fabricated & shared this false Survey poll.”
