We found that the viral video was created using Artificial Intelligence (AI). A video of a man playing badminton with two children was digitally altered to be replaced by a robot.
A reverse image search led to finding the original video on Facebook. In October 2021, a page shared the video of a man engaged in a badminton game with the two children (archive).
The similarities in the background between the viral video and Facebook video make it clear that the viral video has been edited to replace the man with a robot.
Furthermore, a TikTok version of the video was shared with the description that it is AI generated. The video was posted with the hashtag "AI."
Though we can’t ascertain who the creator of the video is, it is clear that a video of a man playing badminton with children has been digitally altered to add the robot.
