The claim is false.
We did a relevant keyword search and were led to multiple media reports, on the 2022 meeting in London, which had sparked a political row.
According to an India Today report on May 24, 2022, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) criticized Rahul Gandhi for his photo with Jeremy Corbyn. This criticism came as a result of the party's rift with Corbyn, who has been described as "anti-India" due to his "numerous tweets on the situation in Jammu and Kashmir," which India considers an internal matter. In response, Sam Pitroda, a close aide of the Gandhi family, reportedly told India Today TV that Corbyn is a personal friend and that the meeting was simply for a cup of tea and not political.
We also found that the photo was first tweeted out by the Indian Overseas Congress on May 23, 2022.
We researched the credits of "India: The Modi Question," a BBC documentary that was aired on January 17, 2023. We found that the series producer was Richard Cookson and the executive producer was Mike Radford. We then conducted a keyword search for "Rahul Gandhi, Richard Cookson, and Mike Radford" but were unable to find any relevant results or photos of a meeting between the three individuals.
