AMARAVATI: TDP former Minister N. Amarnath Reddy on Wednesday slammed Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for giving 'empty sermons' on human angle without taking any steps for the same in day to day governance.

Amarnath Reddy asked why so many inhuman incidents were taking place on a daily basis when Jagan Reddy was ruling the State with a human face.
Addressing a press conference here, the TDP leader said the ruling YSRCP MLAs, Ministers and the Chief Minister have been oppressing the people with their frauds and illegal activities since day one. Now, Jagan Reddy was holding reviews and asking the officials and Ministers to follow a human angle in administration.
Amarnath Reddy said the CM had even asked the officials to become more humble as they would climb to higher positions. Instead of saying such empty scriptures, Jagan Reddy should explain to the public why his regime was failing every day to prevent atrocities and harassment to the common public everywhere in the State.
The TDP leader recalled how a mentally challenged girl was gang-raped within the premises of the Vijayawada Government General Hospital a few days ago. Was this not the utter failure of the Government? A father was not allowed to use a private ambulance to take home the mortal remains of his son at Tirupati Ruia Hospital. Consequently, the father had to carry his dead son on the rear seat of a motorcycle.
Amarnath Reddy demanded that the Chief Minister speak on the lack of medicines and basic facilities for the patients at the Government hospitals. There was not even safety to the patients who were facing harassment from each and everybody. While the situation was this serious, Jagan Reddy was making Oscar-winning statements in his review meetings.
The TDP leader said three persons died at the Kadapa RIMS Hospital due to lack of facilities. The car of the Tirupati-bound family was snatched away by the officials for use in the CM's convoy in Ongole. On the other hand, a former Minister held a huge procession of cars on the eve of the CM's visit to Ongole. Such incidents would expose the inhuman angle in the Jagan rule.
Amarnath Reddy pointed out how over 50 people died during the Coronavirus pandemic at Ruia Hospital. Later, over children died one by one at the same hospital. But the Government did not take any preventive steps.
