All eyes in YSRCP on PK’s survey

With elections fast approaching, some parties are estimating their prospects. They are doing internal surveys besides using the services of private agencies. They are analysing caste-wise strengths. They have begun the hunt for winning horses. All the parties are going into questions like whom to give tickets in coming elections, where to give, which are the constituencies where social realignment will work, who are the leaders who can go among people, who are the leaders who dump people and resorts only to complaints before party president. They want to go into all these questions before giving tickets. There are reports that TDP president and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu already has 2-3 lists of candidates. The names are likely to be decided from these lists.

Chandrababu has already prepared a list of probables comprising sitting MLA, constituency incharge and two other names from each constituency. In this regard, he is using his own surveys and also the surveys by the intelligence. This situation is said to be serious in main opposition YSR Congress Party. He is said to have prepared the list by mingling with people and on the basis of their pulse. PK is understood to have given a comprehensive report on who should be given ticket from which constituency, who has public support, who is mingling with people, who is making efforts to for Jagan’s admiration without strongly taking the party to people, what is social equation in their constituencies and districts. PK team is learnt to have conducted survey in all 175 constituencies in AP. It completed two to three surveys in a phased manner. This time PK team is likely to focus on social equation.

In North Andhra, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is making hectic efforts to win the support of Kapus. BC groups are also the key. BJP is coming among people with the credit of giving constitutional status to BC Commission. In this backdrop, Jagan is said to be planning to give tickets on the basis of the report given by PK. Several leaders are understood to be worried over this survey report. Some sections in the party are happy that with this survey real leaders will get the tickets.
