Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that Amaravati capital would witness more development than Hyderabad. He said Amaravati name itself has a great historical background and people of China and Japan praise the region as the origin of Buddhism is from Amaravati.
Addressing series of election preparatory meetings, the Chief Minister said the Telugu Desam party has committed force of 65 lakh party activists. He said the TDP has the blessings of nearly one crore Dwcra women. He said the TDP government is committed for the welfare of women and distributed financial assistance under Pasupu kumkuma and Rs 67000 crore of interest free loans. He said all the assets including housing schemes were distributed under the name of women. In addition, 55 lakh pensions under different categories are being distributed every month. He said that the TDP government has been providing a facility to lead respectable life to elderly people by extending assistance through pensions.
The TDP supremo appealed to party activists to work hard to win all the assembly and parliament seats in the State. He said that the party men should take responsibility to motivate people to extend support to the development-oriented TDP government. He further said the state government waived farmers’ loans to a tune of Rs 24,500 crore in addition to loan waiver for tenant farmers. He said that the state government has been distributing Rs 10,000 for 2 hectares while the Central government distributing Rs 6000 for 2 hectares. He said Annadata Sukheebhava scheme introduced for the welfare of farmers.
The Chief Minister said that the state government also abolished life tax to benefit 15 lakh auto drivers. He said that he would act as driver Number One to look after the welfare of five crore people. He said 30 lakh people would get employment opportunities with the MoUs signed by the state govt. He said the stable and efficient government would attract more investments and appealed to people to extend support to the development- oriented TDP government.
He hit hard at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and YSR Congress chief Jaganmohan Reddy for conspiring against Andhra Pradesh. He alleged that these three leaders were trying to derail the development works that he had initiated in the last five years. He wanted the people to support the TDP to retain power and also play key role in deciding a friendly Prime Minister in the country. He also said that Minorities in the country are already having threat to their lives under Narendra Modi government and wanted the Minorities to vote for TDP to defeat the BJP.
