Despite an experience of six years, there is no change in him. Pawan Kalyan assured the AP capital farmers that he will stand by them. Not just this. He also said that he will take up the issue at Delhi level to stop shifting of the capital from Amaravati. However, Pawan Kalyan does not understand the situation without going out in the field.
Pawan Kalyan repeatedly announced that if the capital is shifted he will not keep quiet. He said he will back the farmers’ movement. He also joined hands with BJP. He twice visited Delhi. He also made an emotional announcement in Delhi that a long march will be organized over the issue. He said the long march will be held on February 2 in Vijayawada. The long march proposal hit a roadblock. Now it looks that there will be no long march at all.
With lot of hopes from Pawan Kalyan, capital farmers are running around him. He promised them that he will visit the capital region. He may visit the capital region anytime after February 10. As Pawan Kalyan is busy in film shooting, his party leaders said the visit has not yet been finalized. There is criticism that after joining hands with BJP, Pawan Kalyan’s voice over the capital issue is not heard loudly.
Pawan Kalyan will be visiting the villages in the capital region in this context. It was 10 days ago that he decided to visit 29 villages which agreed to give land for the capital. He directed the party leaders to prepare the route map for his visit to the villages. There are indications from the central government that it will not intervene in the capital issue. In this context it will be interesting to see what assurance Pawan Kalyan will give to the capital region farmers.
