Congress launches its missile

telugu post telugu news

The Congress had finally launched its missile. It is a long awaited action from the Gandhi-Nehru family to allow Priyanka into the active politics. Hitherto she had been playing a backdoor politics helping her mother and brother. Now, she is out to help the Congress across the country to breath life into the grand-old party.

Though she is currently made general secretary of the party and positioned in the Uttar Pradesh, she is likely to spread her hands across the length and breadth of the nation reaching out to the masses. She is seen as the Indira Gandhi II and would soon reach out to the hearts of the masses. As she resembles Indira Gandhi, it would be easy for her to pierce into the hearts of the masses as her grandmother did in 1970s and early 1980s.

There are tremors in the Opposition already. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is riding high on second victory in 2019, is worried about it now. He launched an attack on the Congress for its family connections, for which there are no takers. The masses of the country allow and accept the Nehru-Gandhi clan to own up the nation.

It was a master stroke from the Congress, not just for the Bharatiya Janata Party and its-NDA, but to all those opposition parties, who are opposing Rahul Gandhi’s candidature for the prime minister post. The Trinamool Congress from West Bengal, the Bahujan Samaj Party from Uttar Pradesh, the Aam Aadmi Party from Delhi, are, as of now, not accepting the Congress president as the prime minister candidate representing the non-BJP team. The missile, Priyanka, is a clear message to these parties and it may not be too far for the Congress to name her as the prime minister candidate of the Congress-led UPA.

Nothing is required for the Congress to talk any more, not even the much-talked about Rafale jetfighters deal nor the infamous demonetisation. What the Congress needs now is to present her to the nation, beyond Uttar Pradesh. That would certainly give a comfortable victory for the Congress to the corridors of power after the 2019 election.
