Jagan’s New Year gifts

2019 came to an end with all its sweet memories while 2020 began with new hopes. Enjoying the happiness given by the past year, people and government are getting ready to achieve new goals in the new year. In the very first month of the new year, the state government is gearing up to show its efficiency, to come more closer to people and to fulfill the promises made during the elections.

CM Jagan has already alerted the officials on the schemes to be implemented during January to fulfill the promises made in the manifesto. He directed the officials to take steps from first day of January to create cordial atmosphere between the people and the government and implement the promises he had made. As part of this, RTC was merged with the government on the first day of January. Jagan is said to have made history by issuing orders merging RTC with the government.

The fact is Telangana government is financially sound. Still CM KCR did not dare to merge RTC with the government. However, despite the financial difficulties in Andhra Pradesh, Jagan merged the RTC with the government, making RTC employees and workers happy. They expressed their happiness by saying that their decades old dream have come true. They said the government has given them sweets on the very first day of the year. This will definitely be a milestone for YSRCP government.

Another major scheme is going to be implemented from January. All eligible mothers will get Rs.15,000 each under Ammavodi scheme. Jagan has asked the officials to make preparations for implementing this scheme from January 9.

This has also become a sensation in the state. At the same time the government has decided to give Araogyasri cards from this month. Distribution of Arogyasree cards began on January 3 from West Godavari district. Soon the cards will be distributed among all eligible families in the state. Moreover, Jagan government will carry out some programme every day till Sankranti.

After Sankranti, changes will be brought in mid-day meal scheme. Quality food will be supplied for the scheme and for this the government will spend Rs.200 crore. Awareness will also be created among parents about English medium. This will be followed by awareness campaign on Nadu-Nedu. Ammavodi will be implemented from January 9. Sankranti celebrations will be organized from January 10. Thus Jagan has lined up a series of programmes in the new year.
