Jana Sena finalises talks on alliance

Pawan Kalyan telugu post telugu news

The Jana Sena had finalised the talks with the two Left parties on having alliance in the impending elections. Talks were held at Visakhapatnam where Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is currently camping. The talks between the Left and the Jana Sena were fruitful, according to the sources.

CPI general secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy and CPM politburo member B V Raghavulu met Pawan Kalyan for the talks. The leaders of the two Left parties including CPI State secretary K Ramakrishna and CPM state secretary P Madhu, besides others, were present during the talks, while the Jana Sena had its senior leader Nadendla Manohar seated with Pawan Kalyan.

It was finally agreed to go together in the next elections sharing all the 175 seats equally among the three parties. While it was agreed on the alliance, the sources said that the talks on the number of seats that each of the ally would contest were not finalised. However, it is said that the CPI and the CPM were looking forward to get 50 seats each in the 175 total, leaving 75 to the Jana Sena. However, in the 100 seats that the CPI and the CPM together wants to contest, the CPI is looking for greater share keeping the CPM to less number of seats.

However, it is not clear whether the talks on these numbers were held, but the sources say that the two Left parties are firm on contesting 100 seats together leaving the balance to the Jana Sena. But, the question is will Pawan Kalyan limit himself to the 75 seats, giving major share to the two Left parties! The sources in Jana Sena say that Pawan Kalyan is looking at contesting at least 125 seats leaving the 50 seats to the two Left parties. The Jana Sena chief believes that he is stronger than the two Left parties and is not at their mercy. Pawan Kalyan is anticipating more winning horses to join him from the ruling Telugu Desam Party, besides the new faces to jump in the battle once the election notification is issued.
