Kanna gets his team ready for Modi’s visit

Bharatiya Janata Party State chief Kanna Lakshminarayana is getting his team ready for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the State on February 10. The Prime Minister is scheduled address a public meeting in Guntur on the day. The Guntur public meeting was due in the first week of January but was deferred for unavailability of the Prime Minister, who had to rush to Kerala for a party event.

Now, the BJP ranks are ready for the big event where Narendra Modi is set to take on Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for painting him as villain for the people of Andhra Pradesh. As people are rallying for the Special Category Status demand, Chandrababu Naidu had conveniently projected Narendra Modi as the person responsible for denial of the SCS to the State. He held both BJP and Modi as the villains who denied the SCS to the state and did injustice to the people.

The BJP ranks want the Prime Minister to expose this tirade by Chandrababu Naidu. They have pinned hopes on the revival of the party in the State with the Prime Minister addressing a couple of public meetings in the State, starting with Guntur. Though the BJP has its national chief Amit Shah scheduled to visit the State on February 4 to start the party’s bus yatra from Palasa, the leaders are looking forward to Modi whose oratory skills can outsmart Chandrababu Naidu’s media management.

Kanna Lakshminarayana had handpicked some of his leaders to identify the issues that Chandrababu Naidu had been talking against the BJP and the Central government. The TDP’s campaign against the BJP and the prime minister are readied and forwarded to the Prime Minister Officer to get the fitting reply from Modi when he addresses the people in Guntur.

The BJP wants Narendra Modi to put the blame of SCS on the TDP and its leader Chandrababu Naidu, who had agreed for special package, hailed the BJP leadership and Central government for rolling out the benefits through package. The BJP is also ready to expose Chandrababu Naidu’s opportunist politics where he welcomed the package by giving up the SCS, felicitated the Union Ministers and passed a resolution in the Assembly thanking the Prime Minister. All these acts and talks of Chandrababu Naidu would get priority when Modi speaks and clears the air.
