Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu appealed to the people to be more cautious in the coming elections as Narendra Modi and KCR are planning to weaken the AP state using YSR Congress party. He said the TDP government has been implementing several welfare programmes and giving priority to both youth and women. He said that he is working without holiday for the past 5 years for the development and welfare of people.
Addressing a road show in Salur, the Chief Minister said that the TDP government giving top priority for the welfare of tribals and introduced various programmes to protect the health of tribals. He said food basket scheme was introduced to provide nutritious food to tribals. He said that the state government has been implementing number of welfare programmes to cover all sections of people and no other state has been implementing such number of programmes. He said though Telangana state has more revenue than AP, it is not implementing welfare programmes.
Referring to YSR Congress party, the Chief Minister said that industrialists are afraid of Jagan and they will not come forward for investment if YSR congress comes to power. He said those who support YSR Congress will go to jail. He warned that if people support YSR Congress, Jagan will mortgage AP to Telangana. He said that KCR has been hatching a conspiracy to suppress AP by extending support to YSR Congress party. He alleged that KCR has been extending financial assistance to Jaganmohan Reddy. He assured that AP would be developed more than Gujarat despite of conspiracies of KCR. He said that the TRS has been resorting threaten those who are supporting and contesting on Telugu Desam party ticket. He warned that AP people will not tolerate such highhandedness of leaders of other states. He said KCR is trying for a central post by extending support to YSR congress party.
Coming to Pawan Kalyan, the Chief Minister said that Pawan himself said that the central government vows Rs 75000 crore to AP as part of state bifurcation and now kept quiet. He said that former CBI JD Lakshminarayana contesting on Jana Sena ticket from Visakhapatnam. He said as a former CBI officer, he has to reveal the truths in Jagan’s ED cases before seeking votes.
Referring to Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister said that when `we are asking for fulfilment of state bifurcation assurances and special category status to AP, the central government resorting to IT raids on MPs and MLAs and those supporting TDP. He appealed to the people to extend support to Telugu Desam party for a stable government.
