Naidu drops foreign tour, to be available here

Telugu Desam Party supremo and former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu is understood to have cancelled his proposed foreign tour. He is originally scheduled to go on a vacation tour with the family members from June 7 to 13. However, the tour stands cancelled, the TDP sources said.

As the Assembly session is likely to be commenced from June 12 for two days for the members to take oath, Chandrababu Naidu had decided to skip his tour now and attend the session. In addition to this, the squabbles in the party are also a major problem that he wanted to be present and settle them before they damage the party further.

Chandrababu Naidu is also worried about the moves of Jaganmohan Reddy on Polavaram, Amaravati and other key projects where the YSR Congress alleged corruption. The sand mining is also going to be a tough issue for the TDP to face as Jaganmohan Reddy is planning to look into all these issues.

The “insider trading” allegation into the land pooling for Amaravati is now a major cause for Chandrababu Naidu and his TDP leaders to worry about. The new chief minister and his government is not ready ignore it and is bent on proving the charge of insider trading, where the TDP leaders had prior information about the capital location and have purchased lands at throw away prices much before it was announced.

Chandrababu Naidu wants to be present here in the capital to watch every move of Jaganmohan Reddy and his government against the TDP government and its decisions.

Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu is also worried about the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Tirupathi on June 9. As the BJP and Modi are also up in arms against him and his TDP and the BJP leadership in the State has already started the demand for CBI investigations into the land deals of the TDP government, he is much worried and does not want to be away from the State when these developments get unfolded.
