Pawan clears air on alliance

Pawan Kalyan telugu post telugu news

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan had finally broke his silence on the statements of chief minister Chandrababu Naidu for alliance in the next elections. Chandrababu Naidu had been talking about his intentions to have alliance with Jana Sena projecting it as the cause of the people. The chief minister is on a fighting mode against the Central government, BJP leadership and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on denial of special category status. He wants Pawan Kalyan too to join him in the fight as the issues benefit the people and the State.

The talk from Chandrababu Naidu for friendship with Pawan had been going round across the people and generating great confusion among the Jana Sena ranks. Not all of the Jana Sena supporters are in favour of having alliance with the TDP this time. Even the angry Kapu community is upset with Chandrababu Naidu’s move for alliance with Jana Sena. The community had owned up the party against the TDP and the Kapus are determined to vote against the TDP in this round of election.

The Kapus have backed the TDP in 2014 for two reasons – TDP’s promise of giving them BC status and Pawan Kalyan’s support. It was for these two reasons, the TDP could win majority seats in both East and West Godavari districts. Now, the community is upset with the TDP and Chandrababu Naidu. But, when Naidu made a call to Jana Sena to back him, there was a big confusion among the Kapus whether to go with Pawan or differ.

Smelling this confusion Pawan Kalyan tweeted on his twitter handle clarifying things for his supporters. The Jana Sena chief said that his party would not align either with the ruling TDP or with the Opposition YSR Congress in the next elections. However, the Jana Sena would have an electoral understanding with the Left parties in the State, with which the party had been working on some common issues.

Pawan Kalyan’s clarity had come as a shocker for the TDP ranks, who have pinned hopes of winning his support as that would give some hope of winning the next election. The hopes are dashed now and the TDP is looking for other means to reach out to Pawan Kalyan.
