Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan says he would show his style of politics to the ruling parties from now onwards. He said he did not expect miracles to happen in the 2019 government and hence was not disappointed with his party’s defeat. He reiterated that he had come to politics not for five years but for 25 years in target. He had not come to politics to give 25 kilos of rice to the people free, but to give them an assured future of 25 years.
Pawan Kalyan held a review meeting with the party leaders and the contestants who have lost the election this time. He held a meeting with them at his party office at Mangalagiri, where he reiterated that he would show his style of strategies in the days to come.
The Jana Sena chief said that the parties have spent over Rs 150 crore to defeat him in Bhimavaram Assembly constituency of West Godavari district. In one Mandal alone, the parties have spent Rs 30 crore and finally defeated him. “I may not have that much money to roll out in elections. But, I have better political strategies to face those challenges. I will show them what politics is,” he told the party candidates in an attempt to give them some confidence.
Pawan Kalyan looked not upset over the results though he expected to play a Kumaraswamy (Karnataka chief minister) in Andhra Pradesh politics by winning at least 25 Assembly seats and making both the Telugu Desam Party and the YSR Congress to depend on him to form the government. But, that did not happen this time. However, he hopes to wrest power for Jana Sena in the 2024 elections. But, before that he wants to show his strength in the impending local body elections in the State. It is to be seen what strategy that he would adopt and what type of politics that he has in his mind to lead the party to victory.
