Pawan says Jagan can’t enter North Andhra

Jana sena Pawan Kalyan Y S Jagan

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan fielded CBI former joint director V V Lakshminarayana at Visakhapatnam for Lok Sabha seat. He is also contesting from Gajuwaka Assembly constituency in addition to the Bhimavaram constituency in West Godavari district. He filed his nomination papers for Gajuwaka and addressed a meeting where he introduced the party candidates including Lakshminarayana. While introducing the former CBI officer, the Jana Sena chief made two interesting statements. One was that Jana Sena will form the next government in the State and the second statement was that with Lakshminarayana contesting from Visakhapatnam, the YSR Congress chief Jaganmohan Reddy will not dare to enter north Andhra districts.

Lakshminarayana rose to fame as CBI joint director when he handled the cases against Jaganmohan Reddy and finally arrested him. He became the darling of the people, particularly the youth, who admired him for his fearless acts while handling Jaganmohan Reddy. However, the YSR Congress leaders, including Jaganmohan Reddy alleged that Lakshminarayana worked at the behest of the Congress and the TDP leaders.

He then took voluntary retirement and had plans to float his own political party to contest in the elections. Later, he had decided to join the ruling Telugu Desam Party and contest the elections. Finally, he landed in the Jana Sena and now is a candidate for Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha seat. Now that he is in direct politics, the YSR Congress can take on him politically and there is no reason why Jaganmohan Reddy can run away from campaign in north coastal districts!

Pawan Kalyan’s second claim that the party is coming to power in the State is seen in the lighter vain as he is known for making contradicting statements in politics. The fight is now between the TDP and the YSR Congress in the State and the voters are very clear on this. Whether it is Jana Sena or the Left parties or the Congress or the BJP or even the BSP in the State is just limited to a few pockets. Majority of the voters are either with the TDP or the YSR Congress and any claim of coming to power by any party other than these two, including Jana Sena, is just a statement to stay in politics.
