Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan gave a strong warning to the Telangana Rastra Samithi in extending support to the YSR Congress in Andhra Pradesh. Pawan Kalyan addressed a public meeting in Hyderabad, the other day, along with Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati. The Jana Sena chief was aggressive and emotional too in his speech where he said he would launch a strong agitation against TRS if the party continued to support the YSR Congress and disturb the people of Andhra Pradesh.
The fact is that there is no presence of the TRS in AP election. The TRS-YSR Congress alliance is what Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu talks about all through his electioneering. The TDP leaders too talk about this alliance, which has no visible indication to substantiate the allegation. But, going by what the TDP leaders say, the Jana Sena chief had threatened to launch political agitation against this agenda. He had advised TRS chief and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to take political action against Chandrababu Naidu in different form but not by extending support to the YSR Congress.
“You (KCR) can revive note for vote case, or take some action against Naidu’s house or properties located in Hyderabad. But, don’t support the YSR Congress in AP,” Pawan Kalyan said. He also said that he did not born in Telangana to lead separate state movement. “Had I been heading the movement (for bifurcation) on behalf of Telangana, the movement would have been different in taking on the Andhra rulers,” the Jana Sena chief said.
If Pawan Kalyan would deal with the Andhra leaders with vengeance as he indicated, then what does he mean by warning the TRS against lending support to the YSR Congress. All that he tried was to get some votes for his party both in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana by raising the issue of sentiment. But, he ended up in great confusion without knowing what he was talking. Unfortunately, his speech in Hyderabad finally made him a non-entity in Andhra Pradesh politics, ahead of April 11 polling. It is to be seen what his cadre do for him in this election, after his confused speech in Hyderabad.
