Jana Sena is witnessing strange situation. Party chief Pawan Kalyan is pursuing aggressive politics. In fact he lost the elections held this year. He himself contested from two constituencies and tasted defeat from both, plunging the party into chaos. However, immediately recovering from defeat, he started targeting Jagan from the time he came to power. In the name of long march over sand in Visakhapatnam, he created a flutter. Even after this he slammed Jagan. Targetting Jagan for removing Telugu medium from schools, he asked if English medium teaches about life in jail.
Such sarcastic remarks have become common. At the same time, he is raising his voice on behalf of farmers. He is visiting the entire state. Holding meetings everywhere, he is slamming Jagan. When Pawan, despite the crushing defeat, is criticizing Jagan what should be the stand of his party’s lone MLA Rapaka Varaprasad, who represents Rajolu constituency? How aggressive he should be? How should he target the government? How should he display his aggressiveness? However, Rapaka is not showing any such aggressiveness. To the contrary, he is supporting English medium and hailing the government’s decision.
Rapaka Varaprasad has not criticised the government even once in Assembly or outside. It may be recalled that in his constituency he had bathed Jagan’s photograph with milk. Nobody is able to understand his strategy. It is already known that recently a case was booked against him.
When Pawan Kalyan recently visited Rajolu, only his photographs were seen on flexi installed by his fans. Not a single photograph of Rapaka was seen. Even key leaders in Jana Sena are also not giving importance to Rapaka. He is also in close contact with the ministers for works in his constituency. There is a talk that Rapaka is doing whatever minister Vishwaroop is asking him to do. Will Rapaka stay in Jana Sena for five years or will he follow into the footsteps of Vamshi. Only the time will tell.
