YSR Congress calls it wrong march

Even as Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is getting ready for his first political show – Long March – against the government after the party’s humiliating defeat in the 2019 general elections, the ruling YSR Congress called the event as wrong march. The ruling party leaders, including a couple of ministers dubbed Pawan Kalyan as the adopted son of Chandrababu Naidu and his Jana Sena as the B-team of the Telugu Desam Party.

Pawan Kalyan is holding the long march in Visakhapatnam against the government’s failure to supply sand to the people. He sought the support of the TDP, Bharatiya Janata Party, CPI, CPM, Congress and Lok Satta for the event. Unfortunately, all these parties, except the TDP, refused to be part of the event. It is now the TDP and the Jana Sena which are holding the long march led by Pawan Kalyan.

As both the TDP and the Jana Sena are working for the long march, the ruling party leaders called it a wrong march with Pawan dancing to the tunes of Chandrababu Naidu. Minister P Anil Kumar and K Kanna Babu dubbed Pawan Kalyan as the adopted son of Chandrababu Naidu. They said that the real son of Chandrababu Naidu, Lokesh, is in TDP, the adopted son, Pawan Kalyan, is in the Jana Sena, both serving Naidu’s political interests.

The YSR Congress leaders questioned Pawan Kalyan for his silence on the illegal sand mining during the TDP rule. They said that the National Green Tribunal had imposed a fine of Rs 100 crore on the State government for sand exploitation right behind Chandrababu Naidu’s residence on river Krishna in the last five years and wondered why Pawan never questioned it. They said that the Jana Sena had been playing a junior partner role to the TDP from the beginning and Pawan Kalyan is paid for the supportive role.
