Fact Check: It has been found on investigation that this claim that Silly Souls Café in Goa serves Beef is 'False'.
In the ongoing controversy of Silly Souls Restaurant in Goa allegedly owned by Zoish Irani the viral news that is being spread on Twitter that the menu has a beef dish on it has been found to be false based on investigation. We have checked the menu of the restaurant and have found no such dish. The viral image does not belong to the restaurant, and food writers whom we checked do not carry a memory of eating any beef dish at the restaurant.
Viral ImageThere is a video on YouTube which is mostly a monologue against a party by one person called Tilakdhari Pankaj, who in addition to many claims also commented on the trending Silly Souls Café Issue. The Goa based Café is in news for facing an allegation that the license for the restaurant and bar in Assagao was obtained illegally. And, that it is being run by the Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani's daughter Zoish Irani, and the video and several posts on Twitter Claim that the Café serves Beef as one of the dishes.

The claim alleging that the restaurant and bar serves beef is viral on Twitter with many sharing the image of menu card that has the beef dish mentioned.
Further we checked with a senior food writer and consultant – Nupura Hautamaki from Goa, she informed us that she visited the restaurant when it opened and remembers eating the Pork Bao, but does not remember eating or seeing the Beef dish, "It was a long time ago, and one wouldn't remember all the dishes on the menu, but I Definitely do not remember seeing any beef dish," she explained.
Conclusion: Based on the above investigation where we found that the viral menu card mentioning beef dish does not belong to Silly Souls Restaurant and Bar, and that the food writer does not remember seeing the dish on the menu – we conclude that the claim is a 'False' one.
