Tollywood actor and politician Chiranjeevi received a Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Public Service through Cultural Leadership from Bridge India at the House of Commons in the UK Parliament. Chiranjeevi took to X and wrote that his heart was ‘filled with gratitude’ after receiving the award: “Heart filled with gratitude for the honour at the House of Commons - UK Parliament by so many Esteemed Members of Parliament, Ministers & Under Secretaries, Diplomats. Humbled by their kind words. Heartened by the Life Time Achievement Award by Team Bridge India.” He is known as Mega star, and is regarded as one of the most successful and influential actors in the history of Indian Cinema.
Meanwhile, a video showing Chiranjeevi, along with Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and also Indian PM Narendra Modi and others, along with few visuals of huge cruise ships claiming that he has bought a luxurious cruise ship with Rs 6,075 crore. The ship is not affected by tsunamis or earthquake, etc. The ship is bulletproof, waterproof, etc. The ship only travels to London, America, Lakshadweep, etc. This cruise ship has more than 350 bedrooms and more than 474 bathrooms. This luxurious cruise ship has shopping malls, restaurants, movie theaters, water parks, etc.

The claim is False.
When we searched for news reports about Chiranjeevi owns a cruise ship, we did not find any local or national reports about such an acquisition.
When we observed the video carefully, we found that the visuals in the video are taken from lot of other videos. We extracted keyframes from the viral video and used Google reverse image search to search them and were able to confirm that the viral video has been made using different unrelated visuals.
The first visual of Chiranjeevi, along with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, shows the visuals of them visiting Experium Eco Park in Hyderabad. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inaugurated Experium, a world-class immersive eco-park in January 2025, which was built at Proddutur village on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Along with Chiranjeevi, the event witnessed the presence of Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, Chief Whip Patnam Mahender Reddy, and others. The Experium Eco Park was founded and chaired by Ramadugu Ramdev.
When we searched for the visuals of the cruise ship seen in the video, we found the same visuals shared on Facebook with the caption ‘MSC Seascape’.
When searched for more details, we found that MSC Seascape is a seaside EVO-class ship operated by Switzerland-based cruise brand MSC Cruises, which is part of the MSC Group, a Swiss-Italian conglomerate founded by Gianluigi Aponte. The vessel was built by Fincantieri at its Monfalcone shipyard in Italy and was floated out in November 2021. It completed its first intensive sea trials in August 2022 and was delivered in November 2022. MSC Seascape is the fourth ship built by Fincantieri for MSC Cruises as part of a €7bn-investment package for ten ships.
Another visual found in the video, when searched, was a cruise ship called Norwegian Viva.
Norwegian Viva is a Prima-class cruise ship operated by Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), a cruise line based in the US. The vessel was constructed by shipbuilding company Fincantieri in Marghera, Italy. NCL took delivery of the Norwegian Viva in August 2023, and the ship entered service in the same month. It is the second of six Prima-class vessels built for the cruise line. The christening event for the cruise ship was held in November 2023. The cruise ship joined NCL’s first Prima-class ship, Norwegian Prima, which entered service in 2022.
When we searched the visual showing colourful water theme parks on the cruise ship, we found that the visual belongs to another cruise ship called Symphony of the Seas.
According to USA Today, Symphony is the largest cruise ship ever, and it's packed full of gee-whiz attractions such as a thrill slide that plunges nearly 100 feet and a Bionic Bar with a robot bartender. Symphony boasts three main pool areas, a water slide complex, an adults-only solarium, an ice skating rink, two rock climbing walls, a basketball court, and a mall-like indoor promenade with shops, bars and eateries. Like Harmony, it also has an open-air, tree-lined area called Central Park with restaurants, bars, and upscale shops such as Bulgari.
This ship is owned and operated by the Miami-based cruise line Royal Caribbean. Another visual showing a huge shopping complex is found to be the actual video of the Dubai Shopping mall, the biggest shopping mall.
When we searched about the ownership registrations under the name of Chiranjeevi, we found many, except for the Konidela production company. When searched with the name of his son Ram Charan, we found some companies like Konidela Production Company, Hyderabad Polo and Riding Club, TruJet (formerly Turbo Megha Airways), team Hyderabad (Indian Street Premier League) registered under his name. But there is no cruise ship registered. Therefore, the viral video has been created by collaging various visuals of different cruise ships and also various visuals of Indian actor-politician Chiranjeevi. The video is making false claims.
