Fact check:
The claim that the incident seen in the video occurred in Andhra Pradesh is FALSE. The flipping of speeding car happened on Chhindwara- Nagpur Highway passing through Madhya Pradesh.
When the keyframes that are extracted from the video are searched using Google reverse image search, we found a facebook user share the same video with the caption in Hindi "#मध्यप्रदेश के #छिंदवाड़ा में इस तरह पलटी खाई गाड़ी ।" Translation states "Car flipped in air in Chhindwara of Madhya Pradesh"
Taking this as cue, when we searched the video using the keywords "Speeding car in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh", we found a tweet by Praveen Mudholkar Associate editor in News Nation TV Nagpur on August 28, 2022.
He shared the video with the caption "A speeding car suddenly overturned near Linga on the #Chhindwara - #Nagpur highway passing through #MadhyaPradesh, causing minor injuries to the occupants. In the video it is seen that the car suddenly became uncontrollable due to rain water on the road & left the straight road."
The incident was also reported by few other news websites, which reported that the speeding car can be seen whizzing past accumulated water on the road, losing control and then overturning in the field alongside the highway. It stops inches away from a cow grazing in the field.
According to ETV Bharat, the incident took place on the Linga bypass due to heavy waterlogging. A video of the accident was recorded by bystanders, which is going viral on social media. All the passengers in the car are said to be safe.
Hence, the video was shot in Madhya Pradesh and not in Andhra Pradesh as claimed. The claim is FALSE.
