A video showing a bus full of burqa-clad students arguing with a Hindu woman is in circulation on social media, with the claim that they are harassing and not allowing other women who are not wearing a burqa to board the bus they are traveling in.
The social media users are sharing the video with the claim “Sharia Patrols in India! Islamic woman harassed a Hindu woman for daring to ride a bus in Kerala without a sharia covering. The enraged Muslims demanded she wear a burqa. Muslims do not want Hindus to ride on public transportation without adhering to their Sharia demands - Allahu Akbar! Sharia patrols are becoming increasingly prevalent in India and Europe. Women and all non-Muslims who are not acting or dressing according to Islamic law are being harassed and attacked. Meanwhile, Muslims throughout India are busy pretending/whining that they are being victimized by Hindus”

Fact Check:
The claim is False. The video shows students clad in burqa protesting against a private bus for not stopping in front of their college.
When we searched using the key frames extracted from the video, we found a tweet on X (Twitter) published on October 27, 2023, stating that the students of Khansa Women’s College for Advanced Studies in Kasaragod’s Kumbla are protesting against private buses for not stopping at the bus stop in front of their college. The post continues to explain that the woman in the blue saree came into the crossfire as she told the students not to delay the bus.
According to a Malayalam report on reporterlive.com, as the buses were not stopping at the bus stop, female students stopped the bus. The incident took place yesterday evening at Bhaskara Nagar on Kumbala-Mulleria KSTP road. The students of Kansa Women's College blocked the bus and protested, as it was not stopping even when an RTO stop was allotted in front of Kansa Women's College. A waiting shed was also installed as part of the road renovation work. However, buses often leave without halting at the stop. Following this, the students and the bus staff got into a verbal argument.
According to a fact check published in Youturn which also debunked the claim, Kumbla police station SHO refuted the claims and stated that there is no communal angle to the video.
Therefore, the claim that the video shows the burqa-clad women harassing and not allowing other women who are not wearing burqa to board the bus they are traveling in is False. There is no communal angle to the fight.
