When translated, it claims that a newly built bridge in Basankantha, Gujarat had collapsed and the construction work of the bridge was not yet completed.
Some of the users shared some images of the crane on the bridge with the same claim.
Fact check:
The claim is MISLEADING. The bridge is an old one.
When observed carefully, we spotted News 18 logo in the upper right corner. So, we searched News 18 YouTube channel for reports on bridge collapse in Gujarat.
According to News 18 video published on December 16, 2022, the incident seen in the video occurred while the crew was trying to demolish the old bridge over the Banas river in Banaskantha. The old bridge was in a bad condition and the officials hired a contractor to demolish it. The crane driver was not careful while demolishing the bridge, which resulted in the collapse of a large part of the bridge.
News.abplive reported that when a portion of a bridge on the Banas river collapsed during the demolition, an excavator machine with its operator plunged into the riverbed. The worker did not suffer any injuries as the excavator kept upright even after its fall. The bridge is nearly 70 years old and had been idle for the past 4 years. So the government approved the construction of a new bridge at the same place and the old one needed to be removed.
The same report was published by ndtv too.
Therefore, the claim that a newly constructed bridge collapsed in Gujarat is misleading, the video shows the collapse of an old bridge in Gujarat, that was being demolished.
