After hectic campaigning by all the political parties for a month, campaigning ended on November 28, 2023. The last day of the campaign witnessed motorcycle rallies, roadshows, public meetings, and door-to-door canvassing by all the parties. Some candidates utilised unique campaigning techniques on social media.
Amidst this, videos with Indian actor Arjun Kapoor and Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav are in circulation, where the celebrities can be seen wishing Patancheru (Hyderabad) BRS candidate Mahipal Reddy victory in the elections.

The claim that the celebrities seen in the videos posted wishes for BRS Candidate Mahipal Reddy is False. These videos are morphed and used out of context.
When searched for the viral video of Kuldeep Yadav wishing Mahipal Reddy, we could not find any such video on his social media.
Using the keywords ‘Kuldeep Yadav wishes Mahipal Reddy’, when we searched on the internet, we found a video published by the YouTube channel Auromax Digital on October 31, 2023, with the title ‘Indian Spinner Kuldeep Yadav wishes Tridev Acharya on his birthday | ICC Cricket World Cup 2023’.
He can be seen wishing Tridev Acharya on his birthday in this video.
Videos of several other celebrities wishing Tridev Acharya on his birthday can be seen on this YouTube channel.
We also found that the same video with a change in the name published on a YouTube channel named My World on November 14, 2023.
For checking Arjun Kapoor’s video, when we searched Arjun Kapoor’s profile to see if he posted the wishes, we did not find any such videos on his social media accounts.
When searched further, we found a video published on a website named FNP, where personalized birthday message is sold by FNP. Any person can buy this message and personalize it merging the name of the person we need to wish.
This Birthday Surprise Personalised Message by Arjun Kapoor can be bought for Rs 599.
On the FNP website, we found several videos by various celebrities that can be personalized and sent to a loved one.
Hence, the videos showing Kuldeep Yadav and Arjun Kapoor wishing Mahipal Reddy success in the Telangana Assembly elections are not original videos. They have been morphed. The claim is False.
