Fact Check:
The claim is misleading. The video is a CGI-generated advertisement created by Eye Studio for the Hollywood movie ‘Barbie’ and not a 3D advertisement placed at Burj Khalifa.
When we searched with the keywords “3D Barbie movie advertisement”, we found several results confirming that the visuals are CGI generated.

According to an NDTV report, the video featuring a giant Barbie doll in her Mattel packaging placed next to Burj Khalifa is a CGI video created by regional creative content agency Eye Studio. Dressed in a strapless striped jumpsuit, white cat-eye sunglasses, and black heels, the Barbie is seen stepping out of the packaging.
The video has gone viral clocking 3.5 million views on Instagram.
Eye Studio is a social media agency in UAE and KSA which specializes in content creation, CGI animations, illustrations, strategy and development. The video was posted by them on Instagram on July 20 which reached millions of people and went viral.
India Today also confirmed that the video was created using CGI by Eye Studio. According to their report, the release date for Barbie has been delayed in the United Arab Emirates until August 31. The film’s marketing team is keen not to let the hype around the film die. People were quite surprised to see the unique ad. Many commented on how the Barbie marketing team definitely needed praise.
Sky News also published the video with the title “Giant CGI Barbie spotted next to Dubai's Burj Khalifa”.
Hence, the viral video shows CGI generated advertisement campaign for the Hollywood movie Barbie, not a 3D advertisement of the movie. The claim is misleading.
